Metron2 GSM/GPRS Text Alarm/Telemetry Unit
The battery powered Metron2 is a GSM telemetry device that will send text messages directly to your mobile phone or via GPRS to an internet gateway.
The Metron2 is ideal for remote monitoring of pump stations, tank levels, remote equipment or security of outbuildings.
The Metron2 has 4 inputs which can monitor analog or digital signals, 2 outputs and its own internal battery which can last up to 5 years.
The user will need to purchase their own GSM sim card and program the Metron2 as to when to trigger an alarm and where to send the text or GPRS message.
Metron2s can be programmed by text message from a mobile phone or via USB from a PC running a hyperterminal.

•Inputs 4 inputs programmable to be digital or analogue (0-10V). Each input individually configurable
•Integral battery (up to 5 year life). The Metron2 is normally programmed to be asleep, with the display and gsm modem off to save power.
•Large LCD screen on front of unit. This can be used as a local guage to monitor connected sensors,
check the GSM signal strength and the unit’s configuration
•Data sent on alarm or periodically (user programmable)
•GSM Quadband 850/900/1800/1900MHz
•Enclosure: IP67 rated
•Programming via text message or using a PC connected via USB and running a hyper terminal.
•Data logging and real time clock—the Metron2 can store up to 1,500 records.
•Size 138 x 75+glands x 65.6mm
